QUEEN GRACE
Irish Folk Singer & Songwriter – Derry & Donegal
ABOUT
Queen Grace, born Jennifer Concannon in Derry, Northern Ireland during the years of The Troubles, is a folk singer and songwriter whose music is rooted in place, memory and lived experience. With a distinctive voice and delicate fingerstyle guitar, she writes songs that explore resilience, identity and perspective, often through a woman’s lens. Drawing from traditional folk influences while maintaining a contemporary sensibility, her work balances storytelling with atmosphere. Her chosen name honours the Irish pirate queen Gráinne O’Malley (c.1530–1603), a historical figure associated with strength and independence — qualities that subtly inform her artistic voice.

PRESS
“The songs have been taken down to their bare bones – mostly sparse guitar or unaccompanied, with a vocal that is clear and often strident in its delivery. One might think of Anne Briggs at some point.” – Americana UK
